trillium decumbens, alaculsy valley, chattahoochee national forest, murray county, georgia 1

This is the second site I have seen this spring where trailing trillium: plants.usda.gov/java/profile?symbol=TRDE3 is growing with Trillium cuneatum, sweet betsy: plants.usda.gov/java/profile?symbol=TRCU

Sweet betsy is very common in Georgia and trailing trillium is very rare and blooms later. I was lucky to find this small cluster in bloom.
