Downtown Austin Skyline - Evening

    Newer Older

The skyline of Austin, downtown, taken as the sun was setting behind me. The blue colour makes it a good sight! :-)

One thing you don't want while shooting skylines - cranes. But they never seem to go away from the skyline I get in Atlanta!

If you see them in Atlanta as well, I am not not surprised that they are seen in Austin! A few huge residential buildings are being built on the northern banks of the river (one of them being The Austonian). I guess it'll be a better sight when that gets completed.

      This is too good kumar.
Ha... I die for getting those blue in the sky during skyline shots.

: It's just the right time... if you go before sunset, you can get a range of shots with different levels of blue. Your Dallas skyline shot is also shot at a similar time, I'd guess.

I'd like to use this photo on some marketing material I'm going to send out soon. Is this ok? Looks like it is, according to creativecommons.org, but I just wanted to be sure. If so, how would you like me to give credit? The photo will be about 2 x 2.75 inches and I need to put the credit directly on the photo. Thanks so much!
