Aksioma -- Transnationalisms Part I
Italy's northern borders traverse snowfields and ice sheets at high altitudes, mostly following the path of the Alpine watershed. As global warming melts the glaciers, so the border shifts, tracked by a network of sensors installed by Studio Folder.

The installation Italian Limes at the Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova is part of Transnationalisms, a group exhibition and conference curated by James Bridle about identity and citizenship in the age of planetary-scale computation that explore the ways in which technology, art, and migration are changing the nation state.
