A SIN TO NOT SEE LARGE

“The noir hero is a knight in blood caked armor. He's dirty and he does his best to deny the fact that he's a hero the whole time.”
- Frank Miller

I can't think of a modern artist that has impressed me more than Frank Miller, he can only be described as a genius. If you are unfamiliar with his work he is the creator of SIN CITY, 300, and his new film THE SPIRIT, as well as a comic legend, making the Dark Knight what it is. If I had half the eye and mind he does I would be happy.

Last night was a hell of a shot, getting everything together took 2 hours alone, so tonight I decided to focus on light to make the photo. Lighting is probably what I love most about photography, and who better uses light than Mr. Miller?

    Awesome shot man.
But..the fake patches/blood ruin it for me. Think some real ones + real blood (or some substitute) would be better imho.

i agree with that guy ^^^^. The fake stuff looks seriously fake to any relatively trained eye.
