FEI International Tent Pegging Championships
Often referred to as equestrian skill-at-arms, tent pegging has a mounted cavalier riding at a full gallop across a timed course, on the flat and over jumps, using sword and lance to smite a succession of ground and elevated targets. Yes, really.

Military cavaliers have practiced tent pegging for more than two-and-a-half millennia, and it is one of only ten disciplines officially recognised by the FEI, the global governing body for Olympic and international equestrianism.

I ride for Canada and for UNICEF at FEI International Tent Pegging competitions.

My page on the sport is at my team Tent Pegging web page .

In recent years, I have Tweeted from international events at which I have competed.

My account of the 2008 championships in India is at my blog.

My account of the 2007 championships in the Sultanate of Oman is also at my blog.
