1980s vintage Hewlett Packard HP 9835A desktop computer. Running built-in BASIC interpreter. Mass storage was on tape cartridges. Tape slot is at upper left of keyboard. Slots under front of keyboard can be slid out to install ROM upgrades, adding language or I/O features. This machine now belongs to the HP Computer Museum in Australia.
