The beach at low tide.

Apparently when the water goes out on low tide, it's really far out. During higher tides, you wouldn't be able to walk here unless you were treading water, and the posts in the background are nearly submerged.

 

I like the tilt-shift look of this photo. :)

 

p.s. I'm posting this in the midst of torrential monsoon winds and rain. There's something about typhoon-like weather that makes me dream of summer, and beaches.
