Our work in Latin America and Caribbean
The HIV epidemic in Latin America and the Caribbean is concentrated among key populations.

While the overall prevalence rate in most countries is between 0.5 and 1%, this sharply increases (up to an estimated 35%) among sex workers, transgender people, and men who have sex with men.

Our work in the region focuses on reaching these key populations to advocate against human rights violations, and promote and provide accessible services.
