Keeping the Score in CA kickoff concert
Los Angeles film and television musicians performed a free concert at City Hall’s South Lawn on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017 to raise awareness for AB 1300, the Music Scoring Tax Credit bill aimed at bringing back more of the entertainment industry’s scoring and composing work to California.

Performing live were Rickey Minor (American Idol, The Tonight Show), Siddhartha Khosla (NBC's This Is Us) and friends. Guest speakers included Assembly Majority Leader Ian Calderon; Assemblymember Jim Cooper; Assemblymember Sebastian Ridley-Thomas; Los Angeles County Federation of Labor Executive Secretary-Treasurer Rusty Hicks, Alliance for Women Film Composers President Lolita Ritmanis; Recording Musicians Association International President Marc Sazer; RMALA President Steve Dress; and AFM Local 47 President John Acosta.
