This group of mother monkeys and baby's are huddled together for protection reasons.
Watching each others backs for the kidnappers that are circling about 3 meters away. The orange cloth wrapped around the tree is put there by monks to protect the spirits that live in the tree.
Once again the humidity is high as is the temperature. Flying and crawling insects are at work trying to devour my body at all four corners. Tropical birds are singing their tune and wild monkeys are scurrying about. Far off in the distance a group of monks are chanting their prayers. The scent of rotting fruit grips your olfactory with intense vengeance forcing a quick retreat to a more remote area.

Thank you all in advance for your kind words while viewing these photos.

Jon, I'm always looking forward to seeing what you have. If you ever tire of life in Thailand, myself and my other half would happily hang out with monkeys in your stead ;)

Also, the piece about the tree is super interesting. Is this the local version of "knocking wood"?
