      Hi tommaso avati,

That could be the subject of a very long blog post!!

It's great for the money, in that it feels very well made, the clickless aperture ring isn't my personal taste, but that and the focus ring are smooth and well damped. The whole thing is tightly screwed together and very heavy!

IQ wise it'll never be mistaken for a high end optic, there's some barrel distortion, it vignettes, it's not especially sharp.

For me, F1.1 is emergency light gathering only (not to be sniffed at on an M9) but at F1.4 things improve noticably

I'm enjoying it very much, it's giving me chances to shoot my M in places I'd needed very low SS speeds before, and while the images don't look great at pixel peeping viewing... the overall look of the photo (which IMO is all that matters) has a nice dreamy quality to it, the colours are quite warm and lack of bite makes for a interesting look.

It all comes down to budget really... native M glass such as the Noc/Sum'lux and Zeiss will slaughter it on IQ. I've not used the Voigtländer optics to compare... but for what it costs, I enjoy using it and I find the pictures quite charming.

      Sorry for the long comment
