Dual X10p
An X10p makes the clib up to Åkers-Runö Station in Åkersberga having met an outgoing train second ago. Åkers-Runö is the furthest north trains get on the Österskär branch line as the line rounds the two bays on either side of the Runö Peninsula.
These trains where delivered in the late 80's early 90's replacing 1920-1960's rolling stock.
The Roslagsbanan is a 891mm narrow gauge railway that had been slated for closure in the 80's but a major political turnarround occured and the ower Stockholm County decided to modernise the network instead.
This part of the line was opened in 2010 and we basically see the full length of the dual track that enable trains to meet on the fly instead of waiting at either station.
