Downtown Austin Skyline | HDR

    Newer Older

So, it's been a while since I created and posted an HDR image. Haven't found much to shoot in HDR and I got so much else to do. But tonight was the night.

Although I'm a little disappointed because I thought I could do more with the full moon but that piece of rock up there is just too darn bright. Just look at the rays; there is just no way you can blend the moon into tonight's sky without special tricks.

Ah well, it's not bad after all just not what I intended. Lesson learned. Y'all have a wonderful weekend.

Great shot. I've been wanting to get some more night shots, but there are so many construction cranes right now.

I've had some good luck photographing the sun to produce nice starbursts. Probably would work for the moon. Check out some of my pictures if you ard curious.

@Photo_For_Fun: Actually I wanted quite the opposite because we normally want to see the face of the moon. The star burst was exactly what I did not want.
