Before beginning my PhD at St. Andrews University, I met up with a close friend of mine from Russia. We did a bit of traveling around Scotland before he returned to Moscow and I returned to my research. Pictured here is an old broken clock in Aberdeen that was mounted to a commercial building. There was an HMV on the main floor of the building, which made this broken relic seem both out of place and reminiscent of the building's transformation.

UPDATE: I have submitted this photo for The Macallan: Masters of Photography Competition. If like what you see, please head to my blog for details and vote for for me! Thanks!
