Virgin Gasoline

This gas station is named after one of the many manifestations of the Virgin Mary found throughout Latin America.

I wonder how the owner came to select the Virgin of Quinche when naming his business. Upon further research I came to learn that the Virgen del Quinche is the patroness of Ecuador. So my guess is the gas station owner named the station after the Virgin out of gratitude for prayers answered or out of a desire to win favor (and future business success) from her.
