Adaptation Project: "Building Resilient Food Security Systems to Benefit the Southern Egypt Region", funded by the Adaptation Fund and implemented by the World Food Programme (WFP). The project was created to help improve resilience in Southern Egypt, a region that is already economically stressed and whose food supplies are under constant threat of disruption. According to the WFP, this region stands to lose a minimum of 30 percent of its food production by 2050 as a result of climate change impacts.
