Mobile Phone Charging Station
In Africa, electricity is expensive and sometimes unavailable in some homes. A cottage business has evolved where people can leave their phones to be charged. In general, the vendor pays for their electricity and plugs a box like this into their outlet. Power strips or sockets are wired in and the vendor supplies an array of power cords. Phones are locked inside the box, retrievable in exchange for a receipt.
