Curlew - Flushed by the Tide
Out close to high tide on the wirral and often the wading birds are flushed by the tide into the near by fields. We spotted a bunch of curlews close to the side of the Road and using the car as a hide slowly approached and photographed them though as most people are aware curlews can be very shy and didn't stay for long. I managed this shot and was quite pleased even though the light was awful. Another test of my 2x.
