Sparrowhawk - In that Tree?
Just as we were changing gear at the car a kind birdwatchng lady pointed out there was a sparrowhawk sat in a tree right by the car park. We spotted it straight away as there was only 2 tree's to look at. my dad was first over the car park and I followed trying not to leave the open car, another photographer put the bird up though and some close over head views were had, though Annoyingly this caused for dust to enter my sensor ( don't point your camera straight up, theres a tip!) and the shots could have done with being at 700mm rather than 400mm, oh I dream of that 500mm F4 L...sigh..
The Sparrowhawks showed well all day there and I got shots of both this female and a male in flight.
This was a heavy crop and not 100% tack sharp.
