Kinari Bazar shopkeeper reads morning paper in front of flowers 2015
Old Delhi, India. November 2015. The shopkeeper of a Kinari Bazar flower both has time in the early morning to read a newspaper and watch passersby before the afternoon rush.
Old Delhi's Kinari Bazar has hundreds of tiny shops offering a glittering array of clothing decoration and wedding accessories. The bazaar lines a single narrow street barely 3 meters wide and half a kilometer long. It runs roughly parallel to 350-year-old Chandni Chowk boulevard, cutting through a maze of twisting lanes dating to the old walled city of Shajahanabad in the mid 1600s.
