Union Square, NYC

Newer Older

Shot from the top floor of Filene's Basement on the SW corner of Union Square Park. I also got 3-pack of dress socks at an unbelievable price. I've been keeping an eye out for locations that are 1) above street level 2) open to the public 3) free 4) with a nice view. I think Filene's Basement closes at 8pm or something. I will definitely go back for sunset and night shots as well as for more socks. I'd also like to check the view from Barnes & Noble on the north end of the park.

Large on Black.

Yes, I used a circular polarizer and put the lens against the glass to avoid any reflection. The glass wasn't super clean, but it still worked.

AWESOME perspective...and thanks for being so giving in the location..good job with the glass...the double "pain" glass in our apartment is my nemesis...:-(

Great picture of Union Square! The sky and the buildings look very intimidating over the tiny park.
