Arch Rock Beach, Point Reyes National Seashore

One last shot from my trip to Point Reyes. 5-second exposure using Hoya ND-400 X. Turns out I really underexposed but didn't notice until I had gotten home. The shot came out OK after a bit of exposure compensation and shadow protection.

Arch Rock is about a 3.5 mile hike from the Bear Valley Visitor Center via the Bear Valley Trail. The trail from the top of Arch Rock down to the beach is short but a little bit treacherous. It's a great location. I can just imagine what sunset from here would look like with cumulus clouds rolling in and either a 1/10s exposure or 60s. But for me there were brilliant clear blue skies. I'll be back, and that is a shot I would camp for.
