Waterfalls at Krka National Park

Krka National Park encompasses most of the length of the Krka River and is known for the waterfalls that cascade over travertine terraces similar to those in Plitvice National Park. Krka’s terraces are less extensive, but the water flow was much greater and the scenic areas were much more peaceful, since it is seldom visited in the winter.

We are back home in New York now - happy to be home, and working through the backlog of stuff that has accumulated in our absence!
