yellow flag

This is an invasive iris (Iris pseudacorus) that's common in the marshes and waterways around us, and in many wet places in the US. This one was growing in a marsh next to the baseball fields in my town. Pretty, but evil, as they tend to take over wetlands and push out the native plants.
