More blue tang
We followed this school of blue tang (Acanthurus coeruleus) around for awhile in the reef. The tide was going out and the reef was quite shallow, so the turbulence at the top of the photo is from waves crashing in over the coral.
This reef was really amazing - we had planned to go into Grace Bay to check out the reefs that are in all the tourist books, but the manager of our resort sent us instead to a secluded unnamed beach on the Northwest Point, north of Malcolm Beach. You could walk right off the beach into the water, then swim a short distance to the reef. We were the only ones there and were not disappointed.
It was cloudy that day, so the light isn't great, and we had aspirations to go back under better conditions, but the weather turned cooler, rainy and extremely windy, so it wasn't possible to go back out there. Next time!
