Uspensky Orthodox Cathedral
Another shot from Helsinki. Some info: "Completed in 1868 in the Katajanokka district of Helsinki, the Uspensky Cathedral is the largest orthodox church in Western Europe. With its golden cupolas and redbrick facade, the church is one of the clearest symbols of the Russian impact on Finnish history." Please view large.
The weather this week was pretty bad: it just rained for the whole week. I had brought my D70 and tripod this time but couldn't go out to take any shots, thanks to the rain. Hopefully, the weather would be fine during my next trip.
This shot was taken with my Fuji Finepix p&s and a packet-sized tripod (on top of a roadside bin!). This time I tried the shutter-priority mode in order to catch the trails from the cars.
Wishing you all a great week ahead! The weather is pretty bad in Reading today. No luck with weather this week :-(
