Apple II - Jef Raskin's from IAI with Swyft Card Custom
I acquired this from former Apple Computer and Information Applicance, Inc. (IAI) employee, Charles T. Springer.
This was the personal Apple II Jef Raskin used at IAI in developing the highly acclaimed Swyft and Canon Cat "Work Processor" software. Jef Raskin was the creator of the Macintosh project at Apple and the author of "The Humane Interface".
The two Apple keys and space bar were changed in size to allow "Leap" keys. The unit includes Jef's SwyftCard firmware and key labels.
The wood palmrest and its carry hole was the prototype for a patent.
Like all the developer computers at Apples at IAI, the lid of the case was soon discarded due to the need to swap cards or run diagnostic cables.
