What? White? Don't do it!

That's right, naysayers. I'm looking at you.

I left the legs unpainted because...um, I forgot.

I don't think the naysayers doubted you. We all know whatever you make is gorgeous.

I think they've just seen too many episodes of Antiques Roadshow: "Your piece is worth $2,000...if it had its ORIGINAL finish, it would be worth $20,000." And then you can almost hear the owner's dreams shatter.

Your commenters are just looking out for your hypothetical fortune. Personally, I think an A.B. Chao edition is more valuable than the original.

If this was mine, I would be tempted to paint the legs a really saturated colour. So when are you going to become a designer for hire to help the rest of us out, anyway?

Totally worth the wait :) This came out so awesome, I have a similar piece that I've been holding off on painting, but I think you've inspired me to just go for it!

When I saw your face in this picture I thought, "Oh, man, she is telling me to do something, and I don't know what it is! Do I need to paint something white? I'll paint everything white, just to be sure. Wait. Don't paint everything white? I'm so confused. I'm already in trouble. I'm sorry."

Holy crap, I have this exact same dresser! Thrift store, paid 30 bucks for it. LOL

Yours looks way better than mine in its beat up original honey-color.
