Antalya Museum, Turkey
Garland sarcophagus (2nd century A.D), named such because of the garland of leaves, flowers and fruits. In between the garlands were masks and Medusa heads, carved to protect the tomb from evil. It was illegally smuggled out of Turkey subsequently exhibited in Brooklyn Museum and returned to Turkey in 1995 after lots of stories and drama. This is considered to be an orginal invention of the Perge sculptors.
