The only image that my grandfather has of the house he grew up in, before it was destroyed. The building on the left is a school house. While the house in the centre is where he lived, on the third floor. The large gateway in the right hand corner led to a second house which was inside, although a lot smaller. The question that remains unknown was how old the house was before it was destroyed.
It was located where the current InterContinental Hotel stands bordering on Madame and Monsieur Currie Square.
