By the train tracks
I discovered this spot while driving about in the CBD with Zoe. I immediately made a mental to come back to it with the camera. A month later I was able to. I was also lucky enough to get there as the sun was on its way to bed.
I destroyed a perfectly good pair of runners while making this. I literally binned them before I could get back in the car.
The 7 exposures were merged into a single 32bit TIFF with Photoshop's HDR Pro. The file was taken back into Lightroom 4.1 where the exposure levels were adjusted as needed. A new TIFF was then baked and processed in Photoshop and Color Efex Pro 4 for styling.
