Earth Child.
It's that time of year, where the beautiful jacaranda tree's start to lose their pretty purple flowers and scatter them all around the floor. Purple is everywhere at the moment, and I wanted to shoot this concept before my opportunity passed! I'm feeling a lot more inspired now that I'm shooting on a regular basis, which is so good. I shot in the jacaranda trees this time last year also! It's amazing to see how far I've come in just one year!
I've had a reasonably difficult week, and I'm glad to say that I've been feeling better, thanks to some inspiring people whom I've met in the past few days, as well as my flickr friends and a few close friends that I see on a daily basis. I am so grateful to be apart of such a supportive and loving community where everyone cares and looks out for one another.
This photo also sums up one of my favourites to get my inspiration back. Nothing is better than reading a good book on a warm, sunny, spring day and absorbing the last hours of sunlight that the day has to offer! Too bad tomorrow is the last day of spring, and then we're hit with the heat of summer. But summer holidays are on their way, 2 more weeks until I finish my year of school!
