Bat Bug

The bat bug is an ectoparasite of bats, and can be found in homes with a resident bat population. Bat bugs are distinguished from bed bugs by the fringe hairs on their pronotum (the shield-looking part below their head). If the hairs on the pronotum are the same length or longer than the eye - it is a bat bug. For more information:
