Girl Scouts present Layettes to Crisis Nursery

Printed in the February 10, 1985, News-Gazette (page C-7) with the caption title "Girl Scouts Present Layettes." The caption reads "Susie Aden and Angela Remesch, members of Girl Scout Troop 366, Royal, present layettes to Brenda Porter, child care worker at the Crisis Nursery of Champaign County. Troop 366 recently hosted the 1985 Festival of Giving at the Royal Community Building for girl scouts and families from Homer, Ogden, St. Joseph, and Royal. The troops donated 11 layettes to the Crisis Nursery, 18 health kits with personal care items to the Roundhouse Runaway Shelter in Champaign, and $108.45, which they had raised by recycling cans to aid famine victims in Ethiopia."
