I did the homework so that I could take a shot of the full moon rising over the legendary Lick Observatory on Mt. Hamilton, high above the Silicon Valley. Today the moon rose at 8:03pm at the azimuth of 118.2° at an angle of 2.5° above the horizon, as seen from the Sierra Vista Point in the Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve, 9.5 miles away from the Lick Observatory.
I processed a balanced and a paintery HDR photos from a RAW exposure, merged them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate your critical feedback.
