Last time I've seen snow in Rome it was 1985... Here it's cold but rarely temperature arrives under 0°C: today it was 16° max, even more under the sun. Been in the middle of the Mediterranean sea we have a temperate weather :))

Teocat I am envious:-) This photo is taken on the mountain and I live in the valley but we will be overcast for most of the year until June. I'm sure our Office of Tourism won't be happy hearing that from me. :-)

Looks cold, good angle and feel.

I think the weather is the main reason way the greatest civilization of the past grew around Mediterranean sea... Romans used to call it "our sea"!!!

    11. Janice L 66 months ago | reply

When I think of the Mediterranean I have to admit to thinking of Italy and Greece.

You have it all. If a trip to the mountains is your wish the Alps are not that far away.

    12. Teocat 66 months ago | reply

Italy, Greece, but also Egypt, Palestine, Maroc, Spain, France... and many more :)

Yes! I used to go to Alps to sky when a was a student: the highest european mountain is between Italy and France! It's one day trip to arrive there from Rome :)

♥White rose♥ Thank you visiting and for sharing the information on the flickr pirate. I have not seen signs of him hear but he is blocked just the same. Sadly, people like him just take another identity.

Starlisa Yes a couple days ago. Thanks for dropping by.

This makes me give more thought to the cold days that lie ahead. I live very close to the river, so where I am we have yet to have a frost. But everywhere else in the city and the surround had their first killer frost last night.
