The Tanzanite Temple
It's been quite some time since my last build, but finaly I was able to finish this one. After The Tourney(and completing the burned house, I've sorted out my Lego, so that took some time, and started building on this temple. It took a lot more time than planned, but sometimes life isn't easy, and do you need to put your time and energy in other things.. But anyway, the build is now finished and photographed and ready to show to you.
This build is my entry into the Summer Joust, Medieval church category. If I can find the time, there will maybe be more entries, but we'll see...
Besides an entry for the contest, this temple is also for my personal story for Kiarr in the Guilds of Historica, but it will take some time until I will write the story, as it is actually part 3 and I need to complete the build for part 2 first...
For the build itself, it all started with thewhirlwind 'legs' from nexoknights. From there on I started building this temple. When I came to the roof I had the crazy idea to make it curved, and also take a half circle out of it. It was kinda challenging, but it was definitely worth the effort, as I'm really pleased with the result. So I hope you enjoy this build as much as I do, and if you want to see it in real life, come to Legoworld in the Netherlands(in October) as it will be part of my layout(if I get through the selection... )
But for now, thanks for watching my build :)
