Handyman Special: A Fixer-Upper in Scarborough, Tobago

    Newer Older

We loved wandering Scarborough, Tobago. That's the little island north of Trinidad in the Caribbean Sea.

This tiny island is 26 miles long and 6 miles wide, so it's easy to explore in a day.

It's so rich with history; Columbus discovered it in 1498.

The island has terrific veiws, a gorgeous rainforest full of colorful birds, and lots of architectural eye-candy like this decrepit vine-overgrown building just up from the docks.

Tobago is worth a stop, and cabbies cost only $25/hour.

What a marvelous old structure Sheree. Looks like the type of place that you could wander around for days and not get tired of it. That is a realy bargain for an hour of cab service. My guess is that you took a few photos. Thanks for sharing this beautiful and interesting photo.

Thank you all for your visits, comments, and invites. I had a dreadful weekend sorting a year's worth of tax papers so my time here was limited, but I should be back to normal today or tomorrow.

      Blessings to all of you,
      Sheree

Surely destined to be one of the hottest properties in the Caribbean! Outstanding composition and colors. Fascinating details, angles, and textures. What would your garden gnome make of this, I wonder...?
