"Two, if by Sea!" or Stealth Ship

    Newer Older

Here's to all those who love riding the open sea!

It's always amazing to me how silently and how massively a ship can be in sight one minute, and gone the next. Stealth ships.

"One if by land, and two if by sea," is a line is from the well-known American poem, "Paul Revere's Ride."

Here's to all those ships that appear as if out of nowhere, looming like the massive giants
    they are.

    Happy Sailing!

(Shot in the Caribbean Islands near St. Barth's)

what a fantastic photo! I love the clarity and texture of the rock but it's made perfect with the ship and blue kept in a shallow dof. Isn't that great how the rock cuts the image diagonally in the frame too! splendid.

That looks like a big one! The satellite domes on top are huge!

Nice selective focus, by the way...
