Snowman Cake

Ingredients:

 

- 1 3/4 cups of self-raising flour

- 1/2 cup cocoa

- 1 tsp baking powder

- 1/2 tsp salt

- 1/2 cup butter, softened

- 1 1/2 cups of sugar

- 3 large eggs

- 1 cup milk

- vanilla frosting

- sweets to decorate

 

Method:

 

1- Heat the oven to 160C (325F). Grease 2 ovenproof glass bowls, one slightly larger than the other.

2- Blend the butter with sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

3- Add the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.

4- Fill the bowls about two thirds full. Bake the smaller cake for about 50 minutes and the larger cake for about 65 minutes.

5- Take out of oven and cool in bowls for 10 minutes. Then move to a rectangular platter so the cakes resemble a snowman.

6- Cool completely.

7- Ice with vanilla frosting and decorate.
