Chicken Noodle Soup

    Jan. 4 - It's a cold blustery day; the snow's swirling around; and healthy eating is in order. Today's request, unanimously, is chicken noodle soup! For the first time ever, I prepared homemade egg noodles. Probably, I will never buy store brands again. My recipe was very easy and they were delicious in the chicken noodle soup.

      We had some this week in a restaurant that was way better than my recipe, I am going to have to work to improve it.

      fromky You have stirred my curiosity. What is it that made the restaurant soup better than yours? To thicken my broth, I use the Green Chiles Soup potato flakes from Darby Creek. It has a great flavor. I bought this soup mix at the IA State Fair, but I see I can order more online from Darby Creek!

      Carol VanHook the broth was really rich. I do not know enough about cooking to explain further. Wish I did! I will try your ingredient.
