Donner Lake

Dug out this shot from four year old archives. This was shot with my first digicam, a nifty Kodak Easyshare that took some pretty pictures in good light. This was shot on our way back from Reno to San Francisco. We had made a side trip to Lake Tahoe where it was cloudy. Later, the sun suddenly came out after we drove for a while on I-80, and we stopped here for a few minutes. Two days earlier, this segment of I-80 towards Reno provided me with one of my more adventurous driving experiences, crossing Donner Pass in heavy snowstorm at night. We were making our way to Reno from Yosemite that day.
