Ravelympics/Knitting Olympics challenge has been met!

My Olympic challenge was to get over my fear of colorwork and make by first fair isle knit. I learned some important lessons in yarn dominance, two-handed knitting, making and reading a chart, and (ahem) the necessity of checking gauge. My gauge was a bit too small, but a severe wet blocking stretched it to fit Mr. Hipp's head. Blocking distorted the stitches slightly, which is a bummer. But in the end, Mr. Hipp is happy, I am proud, and the challenge has been successfully met!

Congrats on meeting the challenge! The hat looks great. From here its hard to see the distorted stitches.

    Hi Mr. Hipp!
