Illustration Friday: Clean

    Newer Older

I work in a cubicle 40 hours out of the week and apparently my definition of “clean” has changed because white-out over sharpie was the first thing that came to mind! I decided to have the white-out chasing the sharpie and tried to use a somewhat abstract background… I’m pretty new to illustration, so please leave any constructive criticism (or positives) you might have so I can improve!!! Thanks!!!

Materials used: clay (Super Sculpey), wire, paper, acrylic paint, digital camera, photoshop (for touch-up)

Way cool stuff... all of it. This one contains so much movement and animation.

Now I know where my missing Sharpie got to. Spank that bad boy, and send him back.

I love this! It reminds me of the California Raisins...remember them? I love the facial expression of the white-out. Thanks for sharing something that obviously took a while to do.

This is TOO funny. I love that it is not instantly clear what is going on and we have to process the whole scene for a moment! LOL! I could easily see this expanded into an advert.
