I've been slacking a little with the pictures. Thursday we have black beans and rice. I make mine with a slab of salt pork, and top them with roasted poblanos, salsa cruda, cilantro, pickled red onion, sour cream, and cheddar. Friday was a party at a professor's house for Hill's grad program (shepherd's pie.. quite good!). Saturday was a big pot of Pappardelle with Bolognese for my family and some friends. Sunday, we had some cabbage and cornbread with local beef andouille from a grass fed organic place in up state NY.
