Genoise and Chantilly 02
I had half of a Genoise cake base left over from the (failed?) white chocolate-strawberry mousse cake that I was working on this morning. The mousse cake began to scare me a little so I made some Chantilly cream to hide away its scars from the battlefield.
So in the end, right before dinner, I decided to put together left overs from that mousse cake. Perhaps it turned out better than the former cake.
