Taken at gunpoint
Political mural on the walls of the old US embassy compound in Tehran. The next day I was arrested at gunpoint by the Revolutionary Guards as I tried to get a passer-by to take another picture, this time with me standing next to the gun. The building is now occupied by a military group of some sort. You'd think they'd know that the Americans have spy satellites that can read your newspaper from space and not be bothering me. Anyway, the Irish passport and several mentions of Roy Keane seemed to get me out of trouble pretty quickly.
