Last Star I'll See Tonight

The old Starlite Music Theatre in Latham, N.Y.

It sat roughly 2,800 people and had a stage that revolved very slowly, about once every 15 minutes. The Starlite was a tour stop over the years for a lot of stars (some that you'd recognize, some that you'd hardly even heard of). The last performance was in 1997, I think.

In January 2011 plans were announced to tear it down and build 300,000 square feet of office space in its place. As of August 2012 nothing has happened.
