Kentucky Horse Palace
Just off the beaten path between Versailles and Lexington, Kentucky, there stands a fabled stable where thoroughbred Derby racehorse contenders are born and raised. Legend has it that the floors in stables such as this are paved with gold. I never made it inside to see.
Apologies for this shot being out of focus. I was contending with a combination of strong wind, a zoom lens which really was not up to the job, and the fact that I was pretty much standing on tippy-toe peering up over a rough stone wall. I took a couple of clearer pictures, but liked them less than this.
Didn't turn this picture into modern art or go too overly crazy with Photoshop (hee! a relative opinion, eh? * smiles*) because depending on reaction to this photo I may send it in an e-mail to someone, but would like to test the waters here first.
