Here is another card, this time for Case Study Challenge #210 with Debby Hughes as our Muse - casestudychallenge.blogspot.pt/2014/09/case-study-challen.... This is the last week with Debby (I could try to CASE her forever… because I can’t really CASE Debby, since she is one of a kind). And it is the last challenge (at least for the next weeks, month… who knows?) at Case Study, I can’t believe… I will miss this challenge!
I’m also submitting this card to the (still) new SSS Flickr Challenge #2. It is hosted by the kind Barb Engler, and everyone can join in, even if you have a blog, just join the SSS Flickr group and follow the deets. For this second challenge we have a tic-tac-toe theme, and I chose the last line down from left to right - leaves, embossing, glitter. The first two items can be easily located in my card… the glitter is in the gold enamel dots, and also in the white thread behind the banner.
I stamped and white heat embossed the background with this fabulous stamp set, from the new release by CBS, and blended some Distress inks to highlight the Christmas tree. Then partially stamped the banner using another sentiment, and heat embossed in gold.
Stamps: SSS - Chalkboard Love; CBS - Set The Scene, Eastern Delights.
Dies: Die-namites - Budding Vine.
Coloring: VersaMark; HA white EP; gold EP; Distress Inks - mowed lawn, peeled paint.
Others: White and gold cardstock; MME enamel dots; Claudine Hellmuth multi-medium matte; Distress Stickles dry glitter clear rock candy; white crochet thread.
Thank you for visiting.
